G72 is a new Triathlon club based in Blantyre which has been formed in conjunction with Blantyre swimming club. The club began when friends involved in swimming all started training together. 
 
The concept of a club open to all was born. With the infrastructure of the swimming club in place it allowed the founding members to build on this and form G72. Since that time there has been many eager local athletes, of all abilities, joining the club. 

 
We are a club who welcome anyone to join and hope to encourage people of all ages to get involved in triathlon.
